One of the difficulties running a rescue is the desire to keep every animal
that arrives. Unfortunately that is not possible.
Here is a premarin foal that become one of our own horses.
We've had him since he was a weanling.
Jonah is 7 years old now (2009). He is a chestnut gelding
with a flaxen mane and tail with some Belgian blood we guess. He is very special to me.
Our Akita is Niesei. Shogun and Mulon sadly have been moved
to the Memorial page.
The Great Pyrenees are King and Kong. They are our guard dogs to protect
the alpaca.

The Long Ears:
Missy is my riding mule. Birdie is David's riding mule. Missy and
I enjoy doing parades and mounted patrol. Whereas with Davids schedule, Birdie is on an extended vacation.
